Effective Friday, December 19, 2008, Furniture Country Galleries has filed a petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code for the Middle District of Florida.

It is expected that the store will be closed for a period of time to prepare for a major sale. All customers with open orders will be contacted via mail concerning the status of their orders
